Step 1: Start with a Detox Therapy for skin and body
Brushing away all those toxins from the body by following a simple technique of dry brushing just before showering. All it takes 30 to 60 seconds. Ensure your skin is dry before you start dry brushing. It has many benefits, natural bristles helps in improving blood circulation and also stimulates the lymphatic system, which ultimately helps in detoxifying. Post dry brushing, usually use oil for your body. You can choose any of your favorite oils. Allow it to rest and absorb into your body and indulge in a lovely bath
Step 2: Indulge into Detox Bath
All you need is some bathing tub, lukewarm water, your choice of candle, rose petals or your choice of flowers, a drop or two of calming essential oils – lavender. Once can also add fresh orange and its zest. Indulge into detox bath once a week at least and if time permits may be twice
Step 3: Book yourself a facial at your favorite salon
A trained esthetician can do our skin that we may not end up doing justice if we did on our own.Especially for any special day, I would not recommend trying anything new at home. It is always wise to leave it to our beauty expert to do a thorough consultation and let the magic of their hand do the needful as per your skin needs. One can indulge for a champi massage to hydrate facial, organic body spa polish and detox mani-pedi sesh. This allows me to relax from top to toe. This is your me time, so simply just enjoy the moment
Step 4: Face Care
By using the right Alkaline foods and supplements. Use the right home care products. Especially a face cleanser. A gentle detox cleanser which is kind to your skin and helps to combat any dirt and debris from your skin. I swear by with Human+Kind Face cleanser and follow with Human+Kind face scrub twice a week at least.
Step 5: Lip care
We all want to have those pink rouge lips without putting lipstick. Beetroot is the hero here. Bring it to the boil. Smash it, sprinkle some sugar granule, pinch of salt and dash of lemon. Apply it directly onto your lips or one may even use a gauze band. Allow it to rest for 10 mins. Follow with a gentle scrub

Step 6: Stay hydrated
Drink ample amounts of water throughout the day. As the day goes by, by sunset one should reduce both food and water intake. Reduce caffeine and alcohol. Rather quench your thirst with water. Plain water does wonders to our skin and body. It helps to throw away all the toxin from our body and it can be visibly seen on our skin. Say no to cold water, aerated drinks, and caffeine. It keeps the body and skin hydrated and keeps wrinkles at bay.
Step 7: Have a sound sleep
Sleep is an essential part of your detox ritual. Body needs that sound sleep. Hence post sunset water intake should be reduced. So that you do not have to wake up as many times to use the restroom. Sleep also helps the body relax. Usually, I ask my clients to use repairing products in the night for their skin. Since it’s the best time for skin to do its work.
Step 8: healthy diet
Say no to sugar, have food rich in vitamins and nutrients. Alkaline food and protein rich diet. Kale, broccoli, olive oil, seeds, nuts, apple, spinach, bananas, watermelon. It will make your body and skin healthy
